• "Well, you know how things are with my mother. She's not someone who is capable of being supportive or really caring. Things are always about her. That's not really something that bothers me anymore. She is the way she is. I've found ways of setting boundaries. I know what to expect when we talk, all of that. But, when I was a kid, I constantly felt like I was annoying her, or I was in her way. I felt like she tolerated me, or sometimes she didn't but I was always a bother to her.
